More Chickens

Well, we have added to our chicken family.
A Rhode Island Red and a Speckled Sussex are
our bigger additions.
The little peepers are one little black Cockoo Moran
and two Americanas.
Unfortunely, the pecking order is in full bloom in the
chicken house..and some are getting pecked more than others.
Guess it is the same as siblings...the pecking just goes down the
line.

Daisy..Growing Up

Although Daisy/Bill is growing up..she/he still likes
a little loving.
She is no longer all yellow..just mostly white, but still cute.

Mothers Day

Part of my Mothers Day gift was the cleaning out
of the creek.
Although, the creek usually has no running water...it
actually was flowing a bit.
Thanks to some very eager children who scooped
out lots and lots of leaves!

A New Home

Daisy has two new friends now.
They have moved from the chicken house..to their
own luxury condo.
Complete with swimming pool.

Back from the Doctor

Well, the American Girl Doll, Molly came back from the doctor.
She came back with a balloon, a patient gown and a certificate
of good health.
Her injured leg is all better now.

A May Birthday

Not quite sure how #3 was this little and is now sooooo big!!!

Happy Birthday Big Boy.

Katie

Our little Katie died on Wednesday this past week.
She lived to be 14 years old.
Katie came to our family from South Dakota when she
was just puppy.
She gave us eight little puppies while we lived in Texas.
Always loving, mellow and quite talkative, Katie gave us
years of joy.
She will be missed.
